A Homestudy is a document required by law  for all adoptive families to complete the adoption process. It is a comprehensive report indicating the readiness of a family to adopt a child or assessing the best interest of a child in the home such as a second parent or step parent adoption. 

 

The Post Placement Report is a legally required document for the courts to finalize the adoption. It indicates the progress of the child and the family after placement.
